4 months old

Lauren turned 4 months old on June 24th. We went and saw Dr. Gill and Lauren is doing great. She is 16 lbs (92nd percentile), 25 inches (78th percentile), and her head circumference is 17inches (94th percentile). She is still on Prevacid for her reflux and has a bit of exema but other than that she is a healthy girl! We are so thankful!

Growing...

Lauren is growing and doing new things all the time now! It is just amazing that one day she is not doing something and the next day she wants to do it all the time. One of her new favorite things to do is to play in her jumper. She likes the bouncing and is strong enough to hold her head up for a decent amount of time. She is also becoming more interested in toys now so she is checking out all the fun things attached.

Lauren found her feet recently!! When she is lying on her back she often hikes her legs up and grabs at her feet and toes. Here is a cute picture of her doing just that... As you can see, she is putting lots of things in her mouth now too...fingers (the more the better), hands, blankets, bibs, and rattles. She occasionally is running a fever and has started drooling so although she doesn't have any teeth coming in that I can see, the doctor said it is possible that she is starting to feel some pain in her gums.

Just this weekend Lauren has started wanting to sit with support. If we recline her she will fuss and pull her head forward to try and sit up. Here is a picture of her and Daddy watching TV together.

I will try to keep up a little better than I have the past few months! Hope you all enjoy the new pictures! We love you all! Have a great week!

Day at the pool

It is hard to believe that Lauren turned 4 months ALREADY! Boy how time flies!! We figured what better way to celebrate than to take Lauren to the Plainfield Pool. Here are some pictures.

Lauren and Daddy in the "Little Guppy" Pool. Lauren is obviously loving her hat and sunglasses.

Lauren and Mommy getting their sun. Don't worry Grandma. We were wearing SPF 55.

After being soaked by a punk kid and high powered water cannon we decided it was time to go. We had so much fun that we decided we wanted to recreate our experience without all the bratty kids and well, people in general. Here is our video of that! Enjoy!

A girls' night out...

Michelle, Monica, and I all decided that we needed a girls night out so the girls packed their bags (and their dogs) and made a trip down to Indy to visit Lauren, Jeff, and I. We shopped and relaxed on Saturday and went to Howl at the Moon on Saturday night. Here are a few pics...

Had a great time girls! Thanks for coming down!
