HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY MILES!

Jeff, Lauren, and I went to Miles 3rd Birthday party on Saturday. We had a great time. I am glad that Miles got to celebrate his special day before the baby came!

Lauren constantly has us cracking up. Lately, when the camera come out, she squints her eyes, and smiles as big as she possibly can. I try to take multiple pictures at one sitting so hopefully we can get at least one with her eyes open! Here is Lauren in different stages of her "CHEESE!"

Today was a Pajammie Jam kind of day at the Kleins! We cleaned the fridge, picked up the house, did laundry, cleaned out our closet, made dinner, and in between relaxed in our jammies. Lauren definately looked cuter in her jammies than we did in ours so I spared you the sweatpants and tshirts!

Saturday night Jeff, Lauren, and I took White Chicken Chili over to Michelle and Ahmad's house to "tailgate" before the game. We enjoyed catching up and watching Miles and Lauren play. Michelle is due in less than a week so we wanted to make sure and see them before Baby Keyes arrives! (We can't wait to meet you Baby Keyes!) Here are a few pictures from our visit together...

Christmas '09

We wish you a Merry Christmas...

We had a great time with GG and Grandpa, Auntie Amy, Uncle Jeff, Cousin Preston, and Auntie Ne. Here are some pictures on Christmas morning after Santa came.Amy and her little reindeer, Preston

Lauren had a really difficult time sleeping while we were away. I am not sure if it was just because she wasn't sure of her surroundings or what was going on. I did discover on the flight home that while we were gone she had a top tooth come through so maybe that was it! At any rate, let there be 3. :)

Jeff got Renee in our Christmas drawing this year. He got her a gift card and got a little creative with his wrapping. He wrapped it in a diaper(a clean one, don't worry!!) and bubble wrap in about 3 boxes, one of which had her dog's bowl and her food in it! What a character!

GG and Grandpa bought a few toys for their house for the kids to play with. They both LOVED playing with this table. The phone was the beloved toy of the weekend. We all sang and some of us continue to sing..."Hello...The phone is ringin so I say Hello..."

Yea! Lauren and Grandpa together! Lauren has been experiencing some stranger anxiety, specifically with men, so unfortunately Lauren didn't spend a whole lot of time in Grandpa's arms. She got better as the weekend went on so here is hoping that it is short lived.

Christmas Eve Mass

Jeff, Lauren, and I traveled to Atlanta to enjoy the Christmas holiday with the Kleins. We flew in on Tuesday (the 22nd) evening. Lauren did great on the flight and slept the majority of the time. Jeff, Amy, and Preston drove in that morning and were nice enough to bring and extra car seat so we didn't have to bring that along as well. (THANK YOU!!) Renee and Izzy stayed the week at Mom and Dad's too, which was really nice.

We attended Christmas Eve mass as is our tradition. Here are a few pictures before we left...

All I want for Christmas...

A week before Christmas our Microwave went Ka-put so off to Lowe's we went. After spending money on toys for Christmas and watching her play in the box we wondered to ourselves why we bought toys at all! It's the simple things in life isn't it?
